Die Hörbar wird im Oktober für drei Veranstaltungen ihre Tore öffnen:

*Herpes Ö Deluxe (CH)*



Herpes Ö DeLuxe is a four piece group from Bern/Switzerland in the 15th year
of their existence, working in a musical field between atmospheric noise,
electronica bruitiste, sombre soundscapes and harsh drones.

*RM74 (CH)*



RM74, also from Bern, is the solo project of Reto Mäder, known for his work
in Ural Umbo, Sum Of R and Ohne as well as his solo releases on labels like
Utech, Domizil and Hinterzimmer Records.

This is a new and exciting project recently started in 2009, featuring Klaus
Janek on bass and electronics, with Scott R. Looney on electronics and
prepared piano. These two musicians and their different experiences together
and separately create a wealth of sonic textural landscapes in their
interactions, with an emphasis on logic and contrasting concepts guiding the
overall shape of the work.

- ASMUS TIETCHENS,(Hamburg), electroacoustic

Asmus Tietchens has been recording music since the 1960‘s. His focus is the
manipulation of found sound in ways suggested by the material itself. Since
the late 90s his music is characterized by the use of sine waves, white
noise and silence.

Collaborations with: Thomas Köner (under the name “Kontakt der Jünglinge”),
Achim Wollscheid, Jon Mueller, Arcane Device (David Lee Myers), Richard
Chartier, and many others.

Until today more than 50 LP- and CD-releases and numerous public
performances in Germany and abroad.

Lohkenn schafft tranceartige akustische Räume mit der faszinierenden
Klangwelt der

menschlichen (weiblichen) Stimme.



Grenzgänge in vielerlei Hinsicht sowie ein musikalisch sehr individueller

ausgeprägter Charakter prägen diese charismatische Vokal-Künstlerin, die
vielerlei

Improvisationsarten auf individuelle Weise verschmelzen lässt und mit freien

Spielkonzepten, Komposition und Gesangsdichtung verbindet.



Moo Lohkenn ist eine deutsche, zeitgenössische (Jazz-) Sängerin und
Stimmkünstlerin,

die sich im Frei Kreativem Jazz, der Freien Improvisation, mitunter im
Zeitgenössischen

Jazz bewegt. Sie spielte Konzerte deutschlandweit, in einigen europäischen
Ländern

und den USA, u.a. auf dem Jazz Festival Moers und dem New Yorker Vision
Festival

und arbeitet aktuell mit Musikern wie Leonard Jones, Lou Grassi, Alan Silva,
Johannes

Bauer, Willi Kellers...

a mixture of electric guitar (played normally and as 'prepared', voice
layering and looping used over song structures. Sometimes the work comes out
quite experimental, sometimes more traditional. I am sometimes playing with
the tension between where the song might be expected to go and the sonic
space that various sound treatments and loopings open up.

I could play a set at the Hoerbar, which is more abstract, amorphous...
