Das Programm im April


Am Freitag, den 29. April  2005 ab 21.00 Uhr wird es in der Hörbar  ein
Konzert mit folgenden Künstlern geben :


@c (Porto)
The musical work of @c is developed in the cross-section of three
complimentary approaches to sound art and electronic music: 
algorithmic composition, concrete sounds and improvisation. If on one  hand
their compositions are usually built around strong structural  foundations,
it's also common that multiple bits are freed from these structures when
integrated into the sound work, contributing to the settling of elaborate
strategies of deconstruction. Improvisation, either in dialogue or
discussion, is central to @c's performances, as is the will to create open
compositions and to nurture ongoing  processes that digitally amplify sound
realities. The creation of cross-links between referrals and memories plays
with the balance between reconnaissance and abstraction.

Jugendsünden: Xyramat (Hamburg)

Xyramat, seit ca. 15 Jahren als Solokünstlerin im Feld der experimentellen
elektronischen Musik (was immer das auch sein mag bzw. welche Definition
auch immer als die Gültige von wem auch immer angenommen und verteidigt
wird), klärt an diesem Abend über ihre musikalischen Jugendsünden auf,
rechtfertigt sich endlich mal, gewährt Einblicke und führt exemplarische
Beispiele vor. Der Grundstein ihres musikalischen Wirkens wurde in frühen
Kinderjahren gelegt, sie hockte vor der Plattentruhe und sang im Duett mit
Cliff Richard "Rote Lippen soll man küssen". Was sie nun in die Welt der
experimentellen Elektronik statt in die Welt des Schlagers hievte, wird sie
u.a. an diesem Abend in der Hörbar berichten und ihre Jugendsünden, die sie
selber nicht als Sünden bezeichnet und erlebt, dem geneigten Publikum
präsentieren.
