Sehr geehrtes Publikum,

auch in diesem Jahr wird die Hörbar ihr legendäres Ausklangfestival
veranstalten.

Katrin Achinger founding member of the "Kastrierte Philosophen" in 1979.
Singer/Songwriter, Bassplayer, guitarist
released 13 albums with the band and partner Matthias Arfmann between 1984
and 1999.

and three further soloalbums
as Katrin Achinger & The Flight Crew
Icaré in 1993,
Jump ( without a warning ) in 2001, and Simple Song ( still unreleased )
The Flight Crew featured changing members both in studio and on stage
as
Rüdiger Klose, Sabine Worthmann, Lucia Wojdak, Martin Wilkes, Akki
Frerichs, Andreas Brüning, Charles Curtis and Holger Kirleis
and many more ( please, see my website and sorry to those I haven ́t
mentioned )

We have joint a new Flight Crew and are ready for take-off:
The actual Flight Crew consists just of my co-pilot Krischa Weber and
myself. We are playing material of the album "Simple Song" and some more
older songs.
Krischa Weber accompanies me on her cello.
She lives and works in Hamburg with different Ensembles, playing improvised

music, music for films and teaches.
On our CD-Player we bring along beats by Chezzy Wezar, Ali Busse, Marc
Balance and others.
So let us take you on a flight so high, so high...

*Baumhaus    *(Hamburg)Gegründet am 21.März 1927, sind BAUMHAUS als
Zufallsprodukt entstanden. Henriette Bard Vaduli wurde von dem
ungarisch-schweizerischen Lyriker und Mäzen Saladin Bordes gefragt, ob sie
nicht in dem berüchtigten Kopenhagener Varieté Solskin Loge spielen wolle,
worauf sie nach eigener Aussage „ einfach ein paar Freunde anrief“.

Ein finanzieller Notstand brachte das spätere musikalische Mastermind der
Gruppe, Iron Tabus Sago, dazu, sein Schlagwerk verkaufen zu müssen.
Woraufhin die Gruppe zumeist mit einem Instrumentarium aus Elektroschrott
und mit ausgedienten Lautsprechern sowie Alltagsgegenständen musizierte.
Damit inszenierten Vaduli und Sago mit weiteren Künstlern - den Hamburgern
Jetzmann, Liszt Krusbersky, Irism und Dalla Valentin eine
post-apokalyptische, atopische Sicht der Welt lange vor Disco und John Cage.

Wir pressen vor wie nach Säfte ohne anerkannte Gütesiegel und drucken uns
um die Qualitätskontrolle.

Eckige Äpfel, bananige Birnen, krumme Höhen, matschige Tiefen,
instrumentierte Weiten, verstimmte Rhythmen ...   ___µ4v =)($^^ 0  ==}[]}5
... werden weniger als auch mehr mit effektiver Körperlichkeit und
geräuschenden Textierungen zum T//PFR/SCH/Kopf verdreht, ausgeworfen,
geschleift, untergekommen und überwandert.

Ob das Ganze als langweiliger Durchfall in die Hose geht, oder dort als
großer infantiler Wurf zum NextLevelShit mutiert ist ungewiss und wird es -
nachsehend wir vorsichtig - unaufhörlich bleiben.

Irgendetwas wird da sein - dafür stehe ich mit meinem Namen. Roland

*Michael Vorfeld *(Berlin),

Musiker und bildender Künstler, spielt Perkussion und selbst entworfene
Saiteninstrumente und realisiert elektroakustische Klangarbeiten. Er ist
aktiv in den Bereichen experimentelle Musik, improvisierte Musik und
Klangkunst. In seinen visuellen Arbeiten entwickelt er Installationen und
Performances mit Licht und arbeitet mit Fotografie und Film.

Bruno & Michel are smiling and Skipperrr’s new album “C’ Mon!” was
published by Hamburg based label Sozialistischer Plattenbau in October and
is now available in many shops and online distributions.”

Skipperrr and her colleague Bruno & Michel Are Smiling (Oliver Bulas) are
back with their new LP “C’ Mon!”. The music of this duo is hard to compare
with anything existing. Glaring hysteria with musical citation, trendy
vocal hook lines, synthesiser chords and two voices that absolutely scream
the lungs out of their throats; A mixture of deconstruction, radio play,
experimental mash-up and madness.
“Bruno & Michel are smiling creates thus entertainment music that remains
stuck to today’s social conditions.” These are the words Bulas stated on
his website. On the other hand, their music can be considered as ambitioned
entertainment music that is a step ahead of their times.

Collage techniques for Lyrics and music are the production basics of this
six-year lasting collaboration – like for example in the fragmented piece
“Bombardment of Lip glosses”.  Complex structures can also be found within
the newest piece “Such Is Life In The Tropics”. This piece combines South
American rhythms with screaming vocals. The two artists cite a Dadaist-like
text by the Russian dissident poet Daniil Charms in the ballade “The
Red-Haired Man”. The claim of the existence of a red-haired man is being
withdrawn here limb by limb and organ by organ until nothing remains and as
a result “in fact it's better that we don't say any more about him.” With
these aesthetics of fragmentation, which can be seen as a comment about
today’s social conditions, one is actually still able to scare his neighbor.

The London-based label Adaadat released their first single (“The Beach Of
Ruined Spirits”) in May 2006. Preceding publications were on several
compilations like Nanoloop 1.0 (2001). In 2003 the piece “Everyday body
market” was presented in an exhibition of the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris.
The new record “C’ Mon!” presents an overview of works from the years 2003
till 2007 on the A-side. And on the B-side artists like DJ Scotch Egg,
Germlin and Mense Reents contributed their remixes to the record.
