Das Programm im Februar 2006

Am Freitag, den 24. Februar 2006 werden zwei Konzerte in der Hörbar
stattfinden : 

sinebag 

sinebags klang verbindet Musik mit Geräuschen, sie zeichnet sich durch einen
warmen, analogen Klang aus.
Es handelt es sich um collagenartige stücke zum zuhören; Felder werden 
gebildet und eine typische Liedstruktur wird in vielen Fällen aufgegeben. es
findet eine Zusammenführung von akustischen (Gitarren, Klavier, sprache,
Geräusche, ...) und synthetischen Elementen statt und somit auch eine
Kombination aus
live gespielten und kompositorisch erstellten Passagen. ein zentrales
Element 
stellt das Einbeziehen von Fieldrecordings dar ; sowohl längere
Geräuschkulissen, als auch im Alltag anzutreffende Klänge werden gesampelt
und als rhythmisches oder auch klangliches instrument genutzt.
Sinebag lebt unter dem bürgerlichen Namen Alexander Schubert in Leipzig.

specifically about this concert, i will performing a composition for found
sounds, found objects and found images, first performed in the u.s. in 
summer, 2005.

current projects:

patrick's fourth cd as murmer was released last year by the american record
label ground fault. This follows releases for bake records (netherlands),
s'agita recordings (italy), and absurd (greece). in the works for the coming
year are a collaborative release with jonathan coleclough, and participation
in touch music's ongoing organ-inspired spire series. he is also currently
working with multiple performance companies for upcoming productions, and
has spent much of the last year touring a recent work with the parisian
company urba in france, england, and denmark. He is a co-founder and
chairman of framework, an organisation that produces a weekly radio show on
london's resonance104.4fm and organises and promotes live events for artists
working in the realm of field recording and phonography. he is constantly
developing new material, solo and in collaboration with other sound, visual
and performance artists including rotozaza, urba, jonathan coleclough and
michael northam.


Am Mittwoch, den 11.01.2006 setzt die Hörbar ihre Filmreihe mit Filmen über 
oder mit experimenteller Musik fort. So wie jeden zweiten Mittwoch im Monat.

"Die abstrakte Sicht auf gewisse Vorgänge und deren Zustände."

Augen zu und Ohren auf, Live: TUNAR

Sabine Vogel (Flöte, Elektronik) Dave Bennett (Gitarre, Elektronik) und
Merle Ehlers (Schlagzeug) lernten sich in der Berliner Improvisationsszene
kennen. Ihre Musik ist eine organische Mischung aus Geräuschgebilden und
atonalen Linien, welche sogar das renomierte Japan Improv Label zu einer
Veröffentlichung bewegte.
