Das Programm im Oktober

Am Freitag, den 29. Oktober 2004 findet in der Hörbar (B-Movie, 
Brigittenstraße 5) ein Konzert mit folgenden Künstlern statt

Aki Onda 
Cassette Memories is a musical ritual which conjures up the general essence 
of memory as I play my own personal memories. It is a spectacle which is 
Music for the Eyes. Partly visible, but seen
mostly in ones imagination.
I prefer doing it as a site-specific performance. I have found from past 
experiences, that my music is strongest when I perform in a which has its 
own memories. A historic building, abandoned factory, old theater, street 
corner where people has been mingled, or a which space is connected to a 
city directry... it's something invisible, and difficult to explain, but 
clearly tangible...
awaken memories... And in this case, I use guitar and bass ampsinstead of 
using a conventional speaker system since it would be easier to control the 
acoustics of the space spontaneously. Besides, I use candlelight for 
performing, as a metapher of the memories  around there.

Margitt Holzt
Das Prophet zählt im eigenem Land nicht. Diese Weisheit trifft auf Margitt 
Holzt zu wie auf kaum eine andere ostdeutsche Künstlerin. Während sie im 
Ausland eine hochgehandelte Koryphäe der verwirrenden Experimental-
Elektronik ist, kennt sie hierzulande kaum jemand.
Dem will nun die Hörbar abhelfen und hat die große, alte Dame zu einem 
einmaligen Konzert nach Hamburg gebeten, Der kleine Club im B-Movie Kino 
fühlt sich geehrt und freut sich auf den Besuch einer außergewöhnlichen 
Künstlerin.
