Das Programm im Februar

Am Freitag den 28, Februar findet in den Räumen des B-Movies ein Konzert mit
drei verschiedenen Künstlern bzw. Projekte statt. 
Der Einlass ist wie immer  um 21.00 Uhr.

Stilupsteypa!
Stammen ursprünglch aus Island. Mittlerweile lebt das nach mehreren Wechseln
zum Duo geschrumpfte Projekt  Stilupsteypa! in Holland und Hannover.
Veröffentlcht werden ihre Produktionen auf dem angesehenem Staalplaat Label aus
Amsterdam.

Ditterich von Euler- Donnersperg
empfiehlt, den Tag mit Sterben zu beschließen. Zu - vielleicht auch
entgegen- diesem Zweck führt er alte Klang- und steinalte Zuspelbänder vor und hofft
auf zahlreiches Sterben.

Duo consisting of Lionel Fernandez and Erik Minkkinen since 1999,
they started their own label, DECO at the end of 2000. Working on
random process by building his own tools , Discom search to obtain a
delicate mixture between their high interest on perverted and extreme digital
treatments of sounds and sweet harmonies & pop melodies. Discom themselves consider
this second album *automoto* as a startpoint of their real sound: 13 subtle
disturbed and exploded electronic audio-pop tracks full of marshmallo high
frequencies,
 chewing gum sounds & bubble cracks, elastics textures,  bender-computer as
a slide guitar,Ö in a funny fireworks of cristallin sounds and stereo
process..

Dorine_Muraille is the alias of Julien Loquet, a 25-year-old Frenchman.
Having previously recorded under the name :Gel, Julien's material under the new
alias sees instrumental recordings (double bass, voice, piano, guitars)
re-arranged and processed through various software. The resultant tracks form an
incredibly dense and
 intricate series of textured layers and melodic clips, an almost Rococo
overflowing of ornamental detail. Despite this spiralling
 chaos, 'Mani' remains a highly beautiful musical work. Sweet, sublime
French singing and melodic instrumental lines are cracked and
efracted through laptop processing. Drawing on the traditions of Chansons
Francaise and old English folk, yet exploding those start-points into fractured
new forms, Dorine_Muraille could be framed alongside digital peers like
Fennesz, Pimmon or Oval, yet works to create something genuinely new and
distinctive - a kind of 'ketamine laptop folk'. Whilst anchored by traditional
song-forms, the listener's perception of time and space becomes jarred and
disrupted through the slurred chaos of collapsing details. From light and pretty
melodics to sprawling, chrystalline soundscapes of constant change to fiercer
squalls and storms, the album flows along with its own skewed logic and
self-assurance. Tracks flicker and flower with the rapid, glitchy motion of
time-lapse photography. Interspersed within these chaotic, fractal tracks are four
ultra-sparse, barely-there piano tracks, each acting as a kind of brief
decompression chamber, a calm space for reconditioning the ears.
